Pain isn’t all bad. Acute pain is actually protective so we don’t get hurt again. However, chronic pain is difficult to explain and even harder to understand. Many clients have told me that others don’t believe their pain. Do you have the same issue? Pain is very subjective so it’s hard for others who don’t have pain to grasp the concept.
Afterall, it’s not like blood glucose level or blood pressure where you can show others the numbers on your blood glucose monitor or blood pressure monitor.
