This topic gives a brief overview of the difference between type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes and how to best manage them. You will learn some simple steps towards taking the right actions to give you a healthier and more energetic lifestyle.
Vivien Hsu is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) and an Accredited Consultant Pharmacist who is passionate about helping people live well with diabetes.
Would you like to improve your strength, avoid sore backs, be able to play with your children and/or grand children and feel the sense of accomplishment that comes with renewed flexibility and movement? It’s never too late to improve your fitness; your body is very resilient!
Renata Basile helps peoples organise diabetes around their lives as an Accredited Practising Dietitian and CDE in Gold Coast Hospital and GP clinics. She has more than 10 years experience in managing diabetes.
We all want to have lots of energy and good flexibility to avoid sore backs and allow us to play with our children and/or grandchildren, enjoy an active social life and do what we love to do. This section will give everyone some ideas of what we can choose to do to feel strong and feel inspired to do it everyday.
Dale Warrander competed in Olympic Games marathon in Athens in 2004. He is a Personal Trainer who will give us a fun, effective 10- minute workout that you can easily do everyday. This will help you build your strength and increase your capacity to enjoy the things you love to do.
