8 tips to celebrate Christmas and New Year without weight gain or high blood glucose levels

99% of all patients and weight management clients asked me for special plans to enjoy this Christmas and New Year. Finally the borders are open in Australia. I just love to share 8 easy and simple tips with you so we can all have a wonderful Christmas and a brilliant 2021.

Many people have put on a lot of weight during the COVID-19 lock-down due to boredom and emotional eating, which also result in less or no physical activity. Many people love to celebrate this special period with loved ones, yes, it includes YOU.

One of my secrets is to help patients and clients to love the body again by learning to listen to the body and act accordingly. I teach everyone how to “LOVE YOURSELF” and how to “BE KIND” to yourself. I’m not surprised so many people beat themselves up with little things because I was once a self-critical person who sought perfection in everything I did. I’ve regained my freedom once I’ve learnt to love myself so I’m now sharing that with people who want to live the life they deserve every second of the time!

What are you going to do for your Christmas and New Year? Enjoying the company while having fun with food is my top priority this holiday season! What’s your top priority? Please do share with us in the comment section.

We hope you find the 8 tips useful and enjoy your holiday season to its fullest after what we’ve been through with COVID-19. What a year 2020 has been and we wish you a brilliant 2021.

Celebrate every little win we have with diabetes, Anthony! Remember how well you’ve done and how far you’ve come! Don’t let the past stop you moving forward. Keep up the great efforts in fitting diabetes into your life, not the other way around. Looking forward to a healthier you in 2021.

Love the idea of counting blessings instead of calories. Also calling healthy food delicious food is awesome. And talking about two types of hunger is truly revolutionary. Your whole vibe is really lovely Viv. Congratulations and Merry Christmas.

Marty, you have resonated with the core ideas! My parents have always taught us to count blessings since we were young. Life is greater when we are grateful and clients achieve greater results in my observations over 20 years! Emotional hunger is the main issue in my view as food is nature’s gift to all living beings. I’m a food lover and simply can’t understand why there is so much fear around food so I teach all clients how to free themselves from their emotional eating and love their food again!
